Portrait prices start at $600 for a head and shoulder oil painting, size 11x14 and go up depending on size. 

Portraits including hands (half body) start at $900. Full body portraits start at $1500 for 16x20.

A 50% charge will be added for each additional subject.

Pet and house portraits start at $400 for 11x14 and go up depending on size and complexity.

Process

I can work from your picture, as long as you or the photographer gives written permission. I can also take reference pictures for an additional fee. Composition sketches will be created for client approval. Once approved, 30%  (nonrefundable) will be due to start the painting process. Total amount will be due when painting is finished, prior to shipping or delivery. Client satisfactory is guaranteed, touch ups or changes can be made as needed to meet the client's expectation. Allow several months for more complex paintings and keep in mind oil paint does not dry fast. I like to wait a week or two so the painting is dry to the touch once completed. Oil paint continues to harden and dry over several months.
