Art has been a passion from a very early age. I would sit in my room for hours and draw everything I saw when I was a little girl. I went on to college at VCU and received a dual Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Arts and Design and Art Education. I am trained in and enjoy using many artistic mediums; however, I am passionate for interpreting landscapes and still lifes with oils. I enjoy painting plein air and from life.  I would regard myself as a traditional representational artist with influences of impressionism.  I strive to capture a moment in time with respect to lighting and color.
